Stephan Giersdorf |
Stephan Giersdorf studied Political Science, Public Law, and Political Science South Asia in Heidelberg, Germany, and at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore. Currently, he is lecturer at the Institute of Political Science, Head of the Working Group "Asia and Oceania" of the HIIK and since 2011 Member of the Board. In his doctoral dissertation he compares the function of civil society in Malaysia and Singapore since independence. |

Dominik Hattrup |
Dominik Hattrup studied Political Science, Economics, Philosophy, and Psychology in Mannheim, Heidelberg, Madrid and Hamburg. Dominik joined the HIIK in 2008, becoming Head of the Working Group "Conflicts in Europe" in 2010. Since 2011 Dominik is part of the HIIK Board. |

Natalie Hoffmann is working for the HIIK since 2009, since 2010 as part of the Board of Directors and Head of the Working Group "Sub-Saharan Africa". She is studying at the University of Heidelberg since 2005, since 2007 Political Science and Religious Studies. |

Patrick Rueppel |
Patrick Rüppel studied Geography, Political Science, and Sociology in Heidelberg. Currently he works as the Progam Manager of the EU-Project "EU-Asia Dialogue" for the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Singapore. Since 2009, he is member of the Working Group "Asia and Oceania" and since 2011 Member of the Board. |

Christoph Trinn |
Christoph Trinn, born in 1979, studied History and Philosophy in London and Political Science, Religious Studies, Public Law, and English Linguistics in Heidelberg. He is lecturer at the Institute for Political Science of the University of Heidelberg, member of the CONIS Group, Head of the HIIK Working Group "Asia and Oceania" and since 2011 Member of the Board. Currently he works on his doctoral dissertation analyzing system-theoretical and socio-physical perspectives on intra-state conflicts. |
